A category C class 2 licence allows you to drive HGV / LGV vehicles without a trailer. ​You can apply for HGV / LGV driver jobs as soon as you pass your test.

Courses start from our lorry yard at Crossflats, Bingley near Keighley.

The HGV Class 2 Course:


  • 20 or 22 hours of intensive training lessons
  • One to one tuition from ex-examiner Rob Lawler in a dedicated category C (class 2) training heavy goods vehicle 
  • Pre course assessment - to identify your strengths and weaknesses
  • Tailored lesson instruction to your needs - we prioritise the right areas to ensure they are up to the standard required to pass your class 2 test
  • We practice on the assessment centre routes in Yorkshire - you will know them like the back of your hand
  • We don't think you will need it, but Pass Protection is available on request

  1. Rob's inside knowledge means he knows exactly what it takes to pass the test at the Steeton test centre which covers Bradford, Keighley, Halifax, Skipton, Leeds and North Yorkshire.
